in @nalyst and QuantTools Family of Financial Applications

Product Demonstrated at the Securities Industry Association Technology Show in New York June 23-25

New York – Tech Hackers Inc., a leading provider of financial software, announced today the launch of four new software products for analyzing swaps and interest rate options (IRO). The new products complement TechHackers’ widely used QuantTools programming library and @nalyst spreadsheet add-ins.

Swap @nalyst and Swap QuantTools provide functions for analyzing and structuring vanilla and complex swaps, including roller coaster and amortizing swaps, and allow unlimited swap legs. Nearly all parameters may be customized and payment, reset, and accrual dates can be arbitrary. The products support multiple currencies and yield curves, independent rate tenors and swap frequencies, fixed, floating and floating arrears payments.

IRO @nalyst and IRO QuantTools provide functions for analyzing interest rate options, including comprehensive coverage of caps, floors, options on bonds (including zeros) and swaptions. The products support Ho-Lee, Hull-White and Black Scholes models. Nearly all parameters may be customized and the structure of caps/floors, implied volatility for caps/floors and gaps between caplets can be arbitrary.

All four products include advanced features such as convexity correction and turn of year effects and support for the latest methods of interpolation. All are capable of constructing curves for generalized yield, spot-rates, futures, par swap rates and par bond yields.

Atul Jain, president and co-founder of TechHackers says, "These products join our family of financial applications, which offer an affordable and complete source of sophisticated analytics. Like all of our applications, these are simple enough to be used by all financial professionals, yet flexible enough to answer the most demanding and unique problems."
